A wonderful customer, later became a gourd friend, asked me if I did Kokopellis. I like Indian things but I had never tried to make anything Indian. She kept sending me pictures for me to help me get the inspiration and here's my first ever Kokopelli.

Cobra # 136 45" long, 15" tall and 13.5 around. A gourd sister of mine sent me this unique gourd of hers and trusted me too much to make a snake for her. I told her that there's no snake in Hawai'i and that I couldn't find a model and that I didn't know much at all about snakes. Despite what i said, she waited patiently for over a month. Finally this is what I came up with. Wished I had more patience time and smaller hands :0) to make scales all over. Don't know if she will trust me ever again! :0)	Cobra, Back View Description here
